I found them at a supermarket in Tokyo, and honestly? I didn’t even care what was inside — I just wanted to take them home. The packaging is blue and yellow, featuring a giant golden chip and a cute cartoon potato wearing a hat, pointing up with a “V” sign and saying “POTATO.” It looks like something from a kawaii food ad. 😂

Inside? Extra-large wavy chips that look like little suns. I grabbed one, popped it in my mouth, and wow — instant bliss! First comes the crisp crunch, then the perfect salt balance, followed by a rich, creamy butter aroma that feels like eating melted cake. 🍰🧀 And yes — it’s made with real Hokkaido butter, so the taste is clean, smooth, and deeply satisfying. Even someone who hates artificial flavors loves this.
